Kitemark® garage scheme begins to grow

The number of applications from independent garages for the Kitemark® for Garage Services scheme has grown considerably, BSI can reveal. At present, there are currently in excess of 500 applications being processed.

It also follows the results of a survey* that showed that 66 percent of the UK adult population believe that garages should adopt this quality standard.

BSI has been encouraged by the increasing number of garages keen to demonstrate their commitment to raising standards in service and repair and driving out poor practices that have blighted the automotive industry for some years.

Kitemark® Garage Services covers all key areas of a garage’s business. It has been designed to improve the delivery and consistency of customer service, resulting in greater customer loyalty and increased profitability for a garage.
